In the summer of 2013 Tri-Flex was posed with providing a labeling solution for a high end olive oil distribution firm. When faced with determining solutions to application procedures, contamination issues and label exposure while still manufacturing a visible appealing label, Tri-Flex set out to work to provide the user with answers. Utilizing its extensive industry experience and broad network the Tri-Flex team sought out potential materials, laminates and inks while setting its Art Department in motion to begin the pre press process. The possibility of developing an answer to a clients packaging concerns always excites the team and results in innovative ideas and cutting edge possibilities. After testing various options the most appropriate substrate, coatings and specifications were selected, plates were made, and the Tri-Flex Production staff did their magic. In order to ensure the label was going to meet with application and usage requirements the customer performed an onsite press proof with Production Manager Gene Saraniero and Tri-Flex President Kevin Duckham at their Long Island manufacturing plant. The solutions developed and the ability of the pressman to provide his product with a rich and elegant image exceeded the customer’s expectations and affirmed their reputation as leaders in the industry.
